In 2008 Lucy was a finalist at the Beijing Olympics and European Champion for flatwater canoeing. Lucy has competed as part of the Great Britain senior flatwater canoe and kayak team since 2001, racing at six World Championships, nine European Championships and the Athens Olympic Games 2004.
